Court Room/Smithson Room – 2nd Floor, Main Library

The meeting rooms of the Livingston County Library are made available to community groups and non-profit organizations on a first-come, first-served basis. The library will not reserve space for more than 4 weeks in advance for any group requiring meeting room space weekly. Because the library’s meeting facilities are in heavy demand by community organizations and groups, the library’s meeting rooms are not available for private functions. These functions include, but are not limited to, parties, family reunions, weddings, or receptions not open to the general public. Reservations must be made in advance and are subject to these conditions. For compliance with the Secretary of State’s Rule #15 CSR 30-200.015 effective May 30, 2023, “No event or presentation shall be held at the library without an age-appropriate designation affixed to any publication, website, or advertisement for such event or presentation” when using the library spaces. The Library also has a multimedia projector and projection screen that is available for use.  -Revised 6/15/2023
