Chillicothe Business College Student Records
Thousands of student records from the Chillicothe Business College have been digitized and are available to view and print. The institution opened in 1890 as the Chillicothe Normal School and was known nationwide as an outstanding School of Business. Before closing in the 1950s the CBC had educated more 130,000 students. Not all student records are included, only those obtained by the Livingston County Library.

Chillicothe Newspaper Archives
Copies of the Chillicothe newspapers from 1889-2009. Newspapers from 1889-1977, with the exception of a gap from 1893-1900, are fully searchable by keyword and date, making it easy to quickly explore historical content. Issues from 1977-2009 are not available at this time; we apologize for the inconvenience. Sign up for a free account to access this service.

This historic walking tour begins at the location of the Ben Bolt Theatre and heads south and east through our downtown. Navigate using the online menu buttons to go to the next or previous building.
