Services
Meeting rooms –
The Livingston County Library provides meeting rooms to persons or
groups which are non-profit. All meetings must be open to the general
public. A deposit of $25 may be required and will be refunded if there
is no
damage to the room and it is returned to its previous condition.
Fax service –
Faxes may be sent or received at the Library. The cost to
send a fax is $1 per page for faxes to long distance numbers and 50¢ per page
for faxes sent to local or toll free numbers. The cost to
receive a fax is 50¢ per page. The fax number at the
Library is 660-646-5504
Copier
service- Copies may be made for 10 cents each.
Notary Service –
Several members of the Library staff can perform Notary Services.
Generally a Notary is available from 9 am -5 pm, Monday-Friday. Notary
service costs $1 per signature per session
Public Access Computers –
The Library has public access computers available that are Internet
accessible and contain word processing and other common applications.
Several computers are available or 15-minute use only. If a computer is
needed longer than that, the Library has computers that can be used up
to 1 hour per day by valid library card holders. Use of the computers requires following the Library’s
Acceptable Use Policy. A violation of this policy may result in loss of Library privileges.
Printing from public access computers is available.
The charge for printing is $.10 per page.
The Library has available for sale to patrons: earphones, and USB (or thumb) drives.
Book Groups –
The
Library hosts a noon book group that meets the second Monday of each
month at noon in the Ruddy Smithson Room. Copies of the books to be
discussed are available at the Library. For a list of the books to be
discussed see the calendar. For more information please call the Library at 660-646-0547 and ask for Robin.
Through
cooperation with the Mid-Continent Library, multiple copies of many
titles are available for book groups to use. If you would like to start
a book group with friends or through your church or other organization,
contact Robin or Retta at 660-646-0547 for information on how to get books.
